Featuring this year:
“Al Carr as Aldo Leopold”

Al Carr from Prescott Arizona will be joining the Lodi Reads Leopold Program this year.

“Mr. Carr, an historical actor, brings to his character a warmth and credibility based upon his own sincerity, passion for the land, and warm intimate style. His performance brings drama to the character of an older Aldo Leopold reflecting on his life of passionate commitment to conservation and the land ethic.”

Mr. Carr’s visit is being supported by the Ice Age trail Foundation, the Lodi Schools and the Friends of Scenic Lodi Valley.

The performance will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 6th, at the Library.

What viewers say:

“The greatest justice Al Carr has done to Aldo Leopold is to bring Leopold’s emotions, feelings, and desires from books to the audience in his brilliant performances.”

“I watch that man perform and am almost afraid that he won’t come out of character when the program is over.”

“I looked into their eyes and at that moment I knew Aldo Leopold had come to life for them.”
